There are two different ways to create a leg:

  1. When you're creating an order and you are certain that there will be legs within the order.

  2. You have already created an order but you want to add legs to it.

Create a leg when you're creating an order:

NOTE: You must have already filled out the order with relevant pick up and delivery information at the top of the order page.

  1. Leg the order manually:

Step 1: Click on the green "+' button within the order

This will populate the first leg which will have the Pickup and Delivery e.g.

If you click the green "+" button again, it will create another leg. You may create as many legs you require.

Step 2: Fill in the relevant information in each leg e.g.

Tick the LH if it is a Long Haul

Time: times to pick up the leg.

Pickup: address of the pickup. The Pickup Region will prepopulate.

Delivery: address of the delivery. The Delivery Region will prepopulate.
Branches: ????

Step 3: Press "Book" to schedule your order

This will book your order with the legs. Or press "Cancel" to cancel the whole order.

2. Use the auto-legging function to leg the order:

Press the auto-leg button to use the template functions to set up legging

P = Pick-up

D = Delivery

L = Linehaul

The autolegging function will route the order through the nearest depots of your carrier based on the journey being made.

Create a leg after creating an order:

NOTE: You must have already made your order and is placed on your Dispatch Hub Board.

Step 1: Right click onto your order that you'd like to create a leg from e.g.

Step 2: Click onto the "Insert Leg" option

This will lead you to this field.

Step 3: Fill in the relevant information e.g.

Legging location: the pickup address for the leg. The address and region will prepopulate.

Step 4: Press the green "Leg" button to save your leg

This will save your leg and automatically place it on your board after the first order. You can do this as many as you require.
