How to Create Rate Cards:
NOTE: Your account role in M2X must be an "Administrator" to be able to create a rate card.
1. Navigate to the "Admin" tab and click onto "Pricing"
2. Click onto the second "Rate Cards" tab
3.Press the "Create Rate Card" button located on the bottom right
4. Choose the "Carrier" configuration
The "Carrier" configuration has two options, "Any" or "Specific Carrier".
If you choose "Any", this rate card become applicable for any carrier.
If you choose "Specific Carrier", another field will show up, and there you can choose the specific carrier you want to choose e.g.
5. Choose the "Product" configuration
NOTE: These configurations must be set up correctly beforehand to be able to choose them.
If you choose "Any", this rate card will become applicable for any product.
If you choose "Specific Products", another field will show up, and there you can choose a specific product from your "Products" tab.
If you choose "Products Matching Pricing Labels", another field will show up, and there you can choose a specific pricing label that links to products. You can choose multiple pricing labels.
6. Choose the "Pickup From" & "Deliver To" configuration
NOTE: These configurations must be set up correctly beforehand to be able to choose them.
If you choose "Anywhere", this rate card will become applicable for any address for pickup.
If you choose "Specific Location Group", another field will show up, and there you can choose a specific location group.
If you choose "Polygon Region", another field will show up, and there you can choose if the rate card applies to specific location kinds within that region.
If you choose "Region", another field will show up, and there you can choose the specific region you want.

7. Choose the "Price Based On" configuration
You can specify how you'd like to price your rate card based on distance, quantity, weight, volume, or delivery hub spoke distance.
8. Choose the "$" configuration
You can choose the minimum and maximum price of the rate card or choose the set price however you're basing your rate card on.
9. Choose the "Effective From" & "Effective Until" configuration
This will allow you to choose when the rate card will become effective from and expire.
10. Choose the "Adjustment Factor" configuration
NOTE: This must be set up correctly beforehand to be able to choose them.
If you choose "Specific Adjustment Factor", you can decide whether you'd like your rate card to include the FAF for this month.
11. Choose the "Additional Comment" configuration
You can add any comment you'd like to show other users in your organization and for the carriers to see.
12. Choose the "Supporting Evidence" configuration
You must add a screenshot/document that this rate card must take into place.
13. Press the "Create" button
This will save your rate card.

How to Edit a Rate Card:
1. Click onto the "
" button located by your existing rate card
This will show a summary of your rate card e.g.

This will then allow you to edit any change you'd like to make to your rate card.
3. Click onto the "Update" button located on the bottom right corner.
This will save your rate card.
How to Retire a Ratecard
This is essentially when a ratecard has expired however you want to keep and update it with the same details. We recommend retiring rather than deleting a ratecard to show a clear history.
1. Click onto the "
" button located by your existing rate card
This will show a summary of your rate card e.g.
2. Click onto the "
" icon located on the top right of the page
This will then allow you to edit.
3. Toggle on "Specify effective date range"
If you have not already, toggle this on as it will allow you to choose a date that this rate card has been effective from and effective until. For example, this rate card has been effective from 1st of January and is expiring at the end of the month, 31st of January.
4. Click onto the "Update" button located on the bottom right corner.
NOTE: If you are putting an effective until date that is in the past, note that this will be under the historic rate cards. So to access them, toggle on the "Include historic" under "Additional Filters"
5. Click onto the '
' button to duplicate the rate card
6. Change any details that are required
For example, the date that is effective from and effective until, or the price, etc.
7. Click onto the 'Create' button
Additional Tips for Rate Cards:
You can delete your rate card by clicking the "" button when you click onto the "
" button located by your existing rate card.
You can duplicate your rate card by clicking the "
" button when you click onto the "
" button located by your existing rate card. This is particularly useful if you're creating multiple create cards for the same carrier, location, etc.
You can find use filters to find specific rate cards by toggling specific carriers, products, from & to addresses or properties. Additionally you can find old or replaced rate cards if you toggle those on.
