You can now use the new subcontracting feature to forward jobs to other carriers that also use M2X.
This needs to be set up by M2X first. If you do not have subcontracting set up in your platform but you would like to, please contact support@m2xgroup.com
Steps to Subcontract a Job
When you enter a job, you will see your subcontractor options at the bottom of your vehicle list to assign to:
2. Once assigned to a subcontractor, the job will appear on your daily jobs screen under the are labelled subcontractors.
3. This job will now appear in the subcontractor carrier as a booking
4. The subcontractor carrier will need to OK the booking
5. The subcontractor carrier must then assign to a truck, and dispatch as usual
6. The original carrier will see updates to the job under the Subcontracted area in the Daily Jobs screen, e.g. Booked, Accepted, Delivered
7. Pricing is not shared from the original carrier, to the subcontractor carrier. The pricing relationship remains between the original carrier and the customer. Any pricing arrangements between the original carrier and the subcontractor carrier must be handled separately from M2X.
**Note on Product Configurations
The subcontractor carrier will see the original carriers products codes, underneath the "Corporate" tab.
These codes will need to be configured, and this will need to be maintained (for example if the original carrier adds new product codes, the subcontractor will need to update these new ones as well).
**Note on Customers
You will need to check at a customer level that your subcontractor has "Revenue automatically managed" toggled off.
**Note on Corporate Bookings
If subcontracting bookings are received from a corporate, there may be restrictions such as only subcontracting to carriers that cart for the corporate. These rules are dependent on the corporate.
